Description:

Tree 25-30 m tall (branching in a height of 8 m); trunk diameter in 4 m height: ca. 1 m, surrounded with 7 flat buttresses, these 4 m high and 3 m wide at base; leaves not even, dark green and shiny adaxially, lighter green and nearly dull abaxially; tree at the time blooming, visited by myriads of insects; flowers intensively and agreeably scented; pedicels lilac to pink; petals pink, thick, valvate, 4 per flower; stamens yellow; ovaries and styles dirty whitish-green; receptacles yellowish, later on grey. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
