Description:

Shrub, 1.5 m. Leaves subcoriaceous, lustrous dark green above, yellow-green beneath; flowers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Adjacent "mussununga" savanna. Southern Bahian wet forest ("tabuleiro" forest).
