Description:

Tree. Tree 20 m x 80 cm, trunk fluted at base, outer bark brown, shallowly fissured, some lenticels, inner bark red, fibrous, latex white, fruits globose to (ob)ovoid, to 8 cm long. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

"Baixio": forest in low-lying area. Poorly-drained soils.
