Description:

Shrub ca. 3 m tall, many-branched; branches horizontal. Leaves thickly papyraceous, dark green and shiny above, pale green below. Corolla white.

Habitat:

Amazonian campina. White sand area, with vegetation mostly 5-6 m tall, and with sparse assurgent trees, 15-20 m tall.
