Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Andrés Ibáñez Prov. Along valley of Río Salado [also Quebrada Salada], 7.4-8 km NW of turnoff at Tarumá from highway from Santa Cruz to Samaipata. Alt. 900 - 1000 m. (2953 - 3281 ft.)

Description:

Shrub 5 m tall, 3 cm in diameter. Crushed foliage aromatic, not unpleasant. Fruit green.

Habitat:

Steep slopes. Dry forest of Anadenanthera macrocarpa, etc.
