Description:
Shrubs 0.5-3.5 m. tall. Flowers few. Fruit green; inflorescence held erect in fruit, other plants here with fruit held downwards, otherwise a uniform population and no evidence of hybridization with S. chrysotrichum which is also here. Pedicel enlarged and sulcate distally, the surface always visible between the hairs. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
