Description:

Stems single to few from a taproot; leaves glaucous, the basal well-developed; corolla pink, the throat pale pink with red-violet lines ventrally; staminode with short yellow hairs. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

Igneous gravelly soil among sagebrush in open pinyon-juniper woodland and on road cut.
