Description:

Herbage glaucous, flowering stems erect; basal leaves well developed; inflorescence not secund; corolla moderately ampliate, rounded ventrally, slightly bilabiate, the lobes subequal, mostly red-pink, the throat white-pink within the red guide-lines. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
Habitat:

Among sagebrush and scattered junipers.
