Brazil. Bahia. Ilhéus Mun. 10 km south of Ilhéus (Pontal) on road to Olivença, then 3 km west, Fazenda Manquinho.

Description:

Shrub, 2.5 m; leaves lustrous green; corolla cream, fruits and old flowers shiny green.

Habitat:

Disturbed restinga forest. Forest with Attalea funifera (piaçava).
