root-climbing epiphyte. Root-climbing epiphyte, flowering at the ends of long drroping plagiotropic branches, staminodes bright yellow, rest of inflorescence white. Few individuals fertile. Photo. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Primary forest on relatively level terrain, canopy discontinuous strong presence of Socratea exorrhiza. Frequent.
