Nicaragua. Boaco. N slope of Cerro Mombachto and adjacent plain, between Cerro and main road (Boaco-Camoapa). Alt. 500 - 900 m. (1640 - 2953 ft.)

Description:

Tree, ca. 15 m. tall and 40 cm. dbh, with very thick ridged bark, with thick clear sap, mature fruits bright clear red, pulp soft, yellowish, sweet and acidic. In pasture. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Pastures with scattered trees and coffee plantations.
