Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the Vaupés River, a tributary of Rio Negro, in Amazonas, BR. Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure a straight line between the mouth of the river (where it branches off from Rio Negro) to where the river meets the Brazilian-Colombian border; halved this distance to approximate the midpoint of the river within Brazil. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates, on the adjacent southern shore.
