treelet. Treelet 8m, calyx red, fruits immature. Understory. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Open forest on steeply hilly terrain. Either still dominated by arborescent bamboo (Guadua) or regenerating from a bamboo die-back that began two years ago.
