Ecuador. Napo. Archidona (Canton). Main road between Baeza and Loreto; c.a., 3-5 km east of the junction with the Tena-Baeza carretera. Alt. 1100m. (3609 ft.)

Description:

Terrestrial herb, 40-60 cm tall. Calyx brownish-black. Corolla urceolate to slightly pouched; red with black lobes.

Habitat:

Patch of primary and secondary forest along road.
