Description:

Terrestrial herb, 30-40 cm tall. Abaxial leaf surface green suffused with red. Inflorescence reduced to a single axillary flower. Pedicel erect. Calyx green. Corolla bright red. Stolons present.

Habitat:

Bosque premontano.
