Belize. Cayo. SSW of San Ignacio ca. 2 km (by air), between the Macal River and the intersection of Chial road and western Highway. (Chaa Creek, Ix Chel).

Description:

Bark smooth; roundish fruits maturing pink, edible; seeds numerous. Internal part around seeds usually white when young in some species and then pink at maturity, as in this case. Good for diarrhea, skin sores and cuts.
