Description:

Tree. Tree 12 m x 17 cm diam, outer bark brown, thin, somewhat pitted, finely fissured, shed in elongate thin irregular plates, inner bark orangish, resin translucent; fruits immature, ca. 2.5 cm long, pale green, ovoid to subglobose, apex obtuse to rounded.

Habitat:

Primary upland forest on level terrain, open canopy, many lianas and understory palms. occasional.
