Description:

Robust plants in large clumps forming a dense cover. Culms arching up to 4 m tall with few leaves at the top. Blades hard, dark green. Inflorescences in separate, erect, bladeless culms, 30-120 cm tall.

Habitat:

Near the edge of very humid forest in +/- open places.
