Description:

Corollas pale to sky blue to pale red-violet, abaxial side of throat paler and with a few red-violet veins; staminode white; mature anthers white to tan abaxially, purple to black adaxially; plants, clammy, sweetly fragrant, like the nectar. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
Habitat:

Roadbanks and bases of Artemisia-Purshia-perennial forb dominated hills.
