Description:

Corollas sky blue to pale blue-violet, abaxial side of throat paler and with a few red-violet veins; staminode white; mature anthers white to buff abaxially, purple to black adaxially; plants clammy, sweetly fragrant, like the nectar, mostly in fruit. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

On steep east-facing basaltic slopes. With perennial forbs and scattered shrubs. Abundant. Brown soil, pH ca. 6.0.
