Description:

Corolla blue-violet; staminode glabrous; anther sacs with tips remaining indehiscent, glabrous. Plants many-stemmed from branched base. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Moist, north-facing, steep basalt slope. With Prunus virginiana, Lomatium, Delphinium nuttallianum, and Agropyron.
