Description:

Tree 25m high 30cm diam, unbuttressed, smooth grey bark, slash reddish, resinous, leaves spirally arranged, leathery, fruit a pale cream drupe with thin flesh, 1-2-seeded, seedling with deeply divided cotyledons.

Habitat:

Lowland rain forest on infertile sandy soil.
