Description:

A timber tree 30 ft. high. Flowers rosy-white. Timber used for piles in erecting wharves, etc. "Yoke-wood.". Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower.

Habitat:

Common in the neighborhood and down to the sea-coast.
