Description:

Tree in medium canopy +/- 15m x 40cm; sap with pungent odor. Fruit bright red; seeds within fleshy white mesocarp.

Habitat:

On granitic boulders. Mixed forest (Lecythidaceae, Bombacaceae, Licania sp. sp. Burseraceae).
