Description:

Tree 8m tall, 5.1cm dbh; slash aromatic, like licorice; bark 1mm thick, gray and red just below; inner bark 2mm thick, fibrous, light red; sapwood tan. Fruit green, shiny, 1-seeded.

Habitat:

Mata de terra firme. Latosolo amarelo.
