Venezuela. Near the border (= Rio Grande o Toro) between Estado Bolivar and Territorio Delta Amacuro. Alt. 320 m. (1050 ft.)

Description:

Tree, +/- 20m tall, with small crown, at the base with 80cm high buttresses. D.B.H. = 21cm. Bark brown, slightly fissured, exuding a little slime. Leaflets thinly coriaceous, smooth, slightly glossy, medium green above, paler beneath. Fruits green.
Habitat:

Low, primary forest. Fertile soil.
