Description:

Tree 12m x 11cm diam, no buttresses. Bark rough, brown, scaly. Leaves and inflorescences crowded at ends of branchlets. Episepalous stamens reflexed.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest on hilly terrain. Understory mostly acaulescent palms and tree seedlings. Soil clay.
