Description:

Herb. Suffruticose at base, herbaceous above, 0.3 m tall; leaves membranous, rich green above, pale below; calyx pale green; petals white; anthers rose-lavender; style white.
Habitat:

Along small rivulet below summit of low pass over summit of Sierra.
