Description:

Shrub. Little branched shrub, ca 1.5m tall. Leaves shining and very bullate above, slightly greyish-green beneath. Young branches pale yellowish with dark indumentum, bearing thin, very conspicuous wings which are shed on older branches, these reddish-brown with weakly quadrangular shape and faintly grooved sides. Flowers pentameous, entiresly white (also the stamens); hypanthium and pedicels salmon. Fruit globular, dark salmon.
Habitat:

Savanna scrub on sand by the new road. uncommon.
