Description:

Herb. Erect herb, woody at base. Ant domatia at base of leaves housing stinging ants. Leaves green with purple venation. Calyx green; corolla pink; anthers pink. Codonathus growing out of ant domatia.
Habitat:

Riparian vegetation on riverbank.
