Description:

Herb. Erect herb growing on river bank. Infl. axillary and terminal. Sepals green with branched, red trichomes; petals white; stamens yellow with purple anthers. Fruit a capsule.
Habitat:

Gallery forest on riverbank with Sphagnum and Cyperaceae in wet, seepy areas.
