Guyana. Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo. Marudi Mt, summit and adjacent W facing slope, 1 km down to creek bottom. Alt. 450 - 550 m. (1476 - 1804 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub 1.5 m; vestiture fuchsia; flowers pink; fruit black, globose, 0.75 cm dia.
Habitat:

Mixed high canopy slope forest. In gap. On dense dark red lateritic clay, occasional igneous boulders.
