Location:

Guyana. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts, Upper Ireng River, 2 km E of Cipo settlement on N end of adjacent ridge. Alt. 750 m. (2461 ft.)

Description:

Shrub. Shrub 1 m; fruits pale red with golden vestiture.

Habitat:

Seepage bog on W aspect slope (S'erly outlier of Pakaraima white sand savanna). Bog with Brocchinia, Drosera, Haemodoraceae, Xyridaceae, Orchidaceae, Melastomataceae, Lycopodiaceae abundant.
