Description:

Tree. Tree 18 m x 25 cm, lower 2.5 m of trunk with broad, flattened triangular spines to 5 cm wide at base. Outer bark pale gray, inner bark yellowish-tan.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest without arborescent bamboo and not dominated by lianas. Undulating terrain.
