Description:

Leaves on rosette, up to 2.50 m long, and to 7 cm wide, thickly papyraceous, dark green above, pale green below. Inflorescence peduncle 1.5-2.5 m long, dark green. Bracts paliaceous.

Habitat:

Amazonian campina and capinarana. White sand area, with canopy 15-25 m tall. (Sand sample).
