Description:

Tree 25 m, dbh 38 cm; trunk with very small buttres-ses; bark more or less smooth, brownish, with lenticel-like emergences; leaves dark green and shiny adaxially, lighter green abaxially; tree at the time blooming; flowers with an intense, agreeable scent; inflorescence axes, pedicels and calyces light green-yellowish; corolla yellowish; filaments white; anthers light yellowish-white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Montane tropical moist forest. Primary.
