Location:

Puerto Rico. Orocovis. Hwy 143 (Ruta Panoramica) at km marker 26.8, a few miles west of Hwy 149 and about 200 m east of entrance to Lago Guineo. Alt. 925 - 1000 m. (3035 - 3281 ft.)

Description:

Upright herb ca. 0.8 m tall, mostly of single stems from taproot; flowers pink. Plants weedy on roadsides and pastures in damp ground.

Habitat:

Roadsides with Cecropia, Inga, Piper aduncum, Turpinia and Eucalyptus.
