Description:

Tree. Tree 20 m x 15 cm, with new flush of leaves. Outer bark brown, thin, with small pale lenticels; inner bark whitish. On steep slope, above stream-fed pool near ocean, in sun. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.

Habitat:

Moist forest, selectively logged 15 years ago, dissected terrain. Strong presence of trunked palms. Rare.
