Description:

Tree 6 m tall. Inflor a terminal panicle. Floral rachis dark pink. Calyx light pink. Corolla white. Stamens purple. Leaves dark green above, brown tomentose below. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Black water. River ending in huge moss-covered boulders. Riparian veg, Elizabetha fanshawei dominant. White sand.
