Description:

Tree to 16 m with fawn lightly fissured trunk, blaze pink, wood ± white, with dome shaped dense crown of dark green leathery leaves. Inflorescences in young fruit. Seeds exposed. Glaucous green at first, turning dull black. Carpel wall or ? aril dull greenish yellow. Inflorescence stems pink. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
