Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located Ilha Aramaçá at the confluence of Rio Solimões and Rio Javari (synonymous with Rio Yavari). Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the total extent of the island; halved this distance to approximate the location of the geographic center of the island.
