Description:

Terrestrial, less than 50 cm tall; internodes 2-3 cm long, 0.6-1.3 cm diam., glossy, dark green to medium green; petioles sheathed to below middle, sheath matte, dark green-brown, weakly free-ending; free part dark green, matte, obtusely and narrowly sulcate; blades subcoriaceous, dark green and matte above with a solid fish-tail grayish pattern extending the full length of the blade, this 2-3 cm wide above, moderately paler and matte below; midrib weakly flattened-raised and darker than fishtail pattern but concolorous with the remainder of the blade above, narrowly rounded and sharply paler below; primary lateral veins weakly sunken above, convex and concolorous above; minor veins distinct, fine, clearly visible.
