Description:

Terrestrial; internodes 1-2 cm long, 8-12 mm diam., dark purple and weakly glossy or yellow-green and semiglossy, free part bluntly sulcate; blades thinly coriaceous, dark green and matte above, moderately paler and matte below; midrib convexly flattened-raised above, narrowly rounded and paler below; upper surface with a band of gray, and a few yellow-green spots.
