Description:

Growing in small clumps. Robust plants up to 60 cm. height, those near trail smaller. Culms glabrous, leaf blades large, stiff, glabrous, abaxial surface gray green. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Abundant in shade places of rather open forest; mixed soil.
