Location:

Peru. 3 km E of Jenaro Herrera town, then 2 km NE of Arboretum Jenaro Herrera.

Description:

Tree 35m x 41.5cm; bark gray-brown, thick, brittle, with shallow fissures; buds turning yellow.

Habitat:

Primary moist forest on terra firme; soils sandy and well-drained in most places.
