Location:

Panama. Darién. Junction of the Río Conglon with the Río Chucunaque north of Yaviza.

Description:

Small much brached tree, 10 m. tall. Wood with with distinctive rays. Petals fleshy, pink on edges and tips, white at bases. Annular ring yellow on inside and white on the outside, filaments purple, anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
