Location:

Brazil. Ceará. Guaraciaba do Norte Mun. Road Tianguá-Crateus, between Guaraciaba do Norte and Ipu, 64km south of Ubajara, 11km north of Ipu.

Description:

Semi-parasitic, emitting roots growing down the trunk of the host (like a Ficus or a Clusia), but apparently without reaching the ground.Flowers greenish, immature fruits green. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

Hill with rocky outcrops; vegetation up to 15 m. high, sometimes lower (probably following cultivation).
