Suriname. Sipaliwini. Vicinity of Ulemari River, ca. 150 km upstream from its confluence with Litani River. ca. 200 m from Ulemari River. Alt. 300 m. (984 ft.)

Description:

Tree, 20-30m tall; stems and leaves with white latex; leaves (petioles + rachis) 50-70cm long, leaflets 10-20cm long, 5-7cm side; most fruit immature, yellow, mature fruit red, seed with white, spongy aril.

Habitat:

Primary lowland wet forest on slope of hill.
