Brazil. Bahia. Serra dos Lençois. About 7-10 km. along the main Seabra-Itaberaba road, W. of the Lençois turning, by the Rio Mucugézinho. Alt. 800 m. (2625 ft.)

Description:

Shrub to 15 m. Leaves coriaceous, rather bright yellowish-green pale beneath. Flowers greenish with pinkish-red streaks. Anthers cream. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Extensive sandstone outcrops with shrubs & small trees, & some damp ground.
