Description:

Tree 8 m tall, ca. 15 cm dbh. Leaves thinly subcoriaceous, dark green and shiny above. Fruits cauliflorous, pale green, simple-seeded. Common name: Uruçu rana.

Habitat:

Primary forest with canopy 15-25 m tall, and dominant trees 30-35 m tall, on white sand soil.
